Some interesting things happened and the izumu is now going to be my girlfriends bike it just needs a seatpost and it will be together. I got a demo eight super cheap and so that is my new ride. I'll post pics of them both soon.

yeah i totally agree with you man, I have a Pro2 trials on my hardtail and its 48p.o.e I feel the trials shoud be 72points of engagement and the pro2 should be 48p.o.e

mac-on-the-mob wrote

Yeah hadleys are sweet I really want one but can't find em in the UK and to get it imported from america will cost me an extra $70 so that will be an extra £140($220) over a pro2 which I can buy here for £80 ($140) so I think i will sacrifice engagement for the good of my wallet

its not the bushings, its the bolt. ill have ot source a new one, tightening it actually cased that wear
im confuseed

dabomb666 wrote
Jun 13, 2008 at 7:57
MY f*ckIN SS!
im soo f*ckin pissed.
its hard to explain, but thats the shock mount bolt from the rocker (the same design as on a BR) but because intense are so clever they send the bikes out with bolts that have too long a thread and not a long enough shoulder.
because of the VPP linkage this bolt rotates in the shock plate and the shock bushings, causing it to rub and cause the wear seen in that picture, so i need to source a new bolt with less thread and more shoulder and maybe even longer so i can thread it through, drill a hole in it and put a split pin or circlip through it to stop it rotating.
its gash
intense WILL be recieving an email.

dabomb666 wrote
May 23, 2008 at 3:44
were in the process of building that trail... thats the opening feature. you drop in over a fire road then hit straight down that shoot, the burm flicks you back up the hill and you turn down again goin off camber across the side of the hill into the second and third burm, which allow you to carry speed across the hill, then you float the rock garden.......were building more today! ill get some pics of the 'SKI run' section later....its massive.
lol

ok thanks man, Im sure a PUSH'ed tst-r will still feel much better for dh duties than the dhx5 on there, was there a noticeable difference for yours? I find mine soaks up small bumps ok, and big jumps well, but anything inbetween, like rockgardens or just rock sections, it just completley blows through the travel Frown

reebs wrote
Apr 11, 2008 at 5:30
Hi
I read on mtbr forum that you have got a rocco wc for your bottlerocket instead of the dhx5, and that it appears to eliminate the problems with the dhx5 and the bottlerocket that it just blows straight through the travel and bottoms out, or doesnt move at all. My question is where did you find a rocco wc in the right size for the bottlerocket? I can only find the tst r in that size,
thanks
Rich

Awesome. Id really like one. Or the blindside but Im afraid my atomik will feel left out if I dont use it Razz. I suppose I could get a blindside for DH Race if its lighter and keep the atomik for practicing.

It was cool as a SS because it's different. It was really not practical for anything but DJing. Ladder stunts with short climbs and descents were a pain in the butt. To much mashing on the ladders/skinnies makes them really sketchy and spinning out on descents is annoying.
